delicious snacks in 10 minutes or less

today i’m bringing you three amazingly easy and totally yummy recipes that you can make in 10 minutes or less. these are perfect for after school snacks to hold you over until dinner or cook them up the night before and bring them in your lunch bag!

grilled cheese is one of my all time favorite meals. here’s a fun, new take on a classic grilled cheese sandwich. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you GRILLED CHEESE BITES!

here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 package crescent roll sheet dough
  • 2 oz processed american cheese sliced into 6 squares
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 2 cups bread crumbs

follow these cooking instructions:

  1. pre heat oven to 400 degrees (fahrenheit)
  2. place butter in one bowl and bread crumbs in another bowl
  3. roll out crescent roll sheet and cut into 12 two inch squares
  4. place cheese on every other square. use the alternate squares to cover the top of the cheese. squeeze the bottom dough square and top dough square together around the edges (make sure they are sealed tightly so cheese does not escape while cooking)
  5. roll the sandwiches in the melted butter and then coat with bread crumbs
  6. place on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and melted

this is another really fast recipe that i absolutely love. you can make this snack so many different ways that you could actually have one every day of the week and still not get tired of it, and best of all this snack is perfect to eat on the go! introducing WALKING TACOS!

here’s what you’ll need:

  • snack size bag of chips (my favorites are nacho cheese doritos, cool ranch doritos, or fritos)
  • taco fixings (my favorites are cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato and ground beef… the options are endless, so get creative!)

follow these ‘cooking’ instructions:

  1. cook the ground beef in a skillet if needed (add a packet of taco seasoning for some extra flavor). you can also caramelize some onions in a skillet if you want to!
  2. literally just open your bag of chips, pile on the toppings and enjoy!
